Over the past decade many individuals have opted for trusts as an alternative to Wills. Trusts have several advantages to Wills, notably the lack of probate and probate fees, but present some special legal issues.

Bob Ehrle actively practices in the area of  trust administration. Once a trust becomes active with the death of the Trustee, a number of sometimes complicated events must occur. This includes the transfer of property, the changing of title of property to the beneficiaries, and the parceling out of specific gifts.

Often these tasks can be quite daunting for a family member with no legal training. Bob takes a great deal of time to assist family members in the administration of the trust, making the division of assets and the distribution of property as quick and as simple as possible.

Fees for trust administration are hourly, but quite reasonable. Additionally, Bob can provide tax and general legal counsel regarding the best distribution of assets, as well as the preparation of an estate tax return which is often required.
