Doug Allen is an Attorney who has been in private practice in Claremont, California since 1991, emphasizing criminal defense matters. Doug was a police officer for the City of Claremont for 13 years, and achieved the rank of Captain. During his time at Claremont he served as a Patrol Officer, Training Officer, Detective, Detective Sergeant, Watch Commander, and Captain of the Patrol Division. He also served as Chief of Police for six months, and was invited to apply for that position again, which he declined to do. Doug Allen ranked number one in his Law School Class. He has worked in a large Los Angeles based civil litigation firm that concentrated on police misconduct cases. He also was, for less than a year, a Deputy Public Defender, and was involved in more than one hundred criminal cases. Doug has in private practice represented clients charged with offenses ranging from possession of alcohol to first degree murder. He has been a lecturer in Criminal Law at California State University, San Bernardino. Recently, he was interviewed by and quoted in TIME magazine along with six other attorneys nationwide regarding the impact of the September 11th attacks on the court and jury system. A creative and non traditional approach to criminal defense is emphasized, drawing upon a unique background from both sides of the Criminal Justice system. Clients are seen as the individuals they are, not as "defendants" in the impersonal and unconcerned criminal justice system. Proven negotiation and trial skills are used to obtain the best results for each client. Allen & Ehrle, 427 Yale Ave., Claremont, CA 91711 909 482-1274 See our Site on Record Expungement
